Your images

image-converter.cc converts images using your browser's built-in Canvas API. When you drop or select a file, it is read directly into your browser's memory and processed on your own device's CPU or GPU. At no point is the image data sent to image-converter.cc servers, or to any third party. We don't have a backend that receives uploaded files — the conversion page works the same way whether you're online or offline, which is only possible because nothing is transmitted.

What we do collect

This site does not run its own analytics or tracking scripts, and does not create user accounts. Our web host (used to serve the static site files) may log standard, aggregated request data such as IP address and user agent for security and reliability purposes, in line with typical web server operation.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep this tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Ad-serving code loads from Google's servers only after the page itself loads; it plays no role in the image conversion process and never receives your image files.

Cookies

Aside from cookies set by the advertising provider described above, image-converter.cc uses a single piece of local storage — not a cookie — to remember your language and light/dark mode preference. These values never leave your browser and are never read by us.

Your rights

Because we don't collect or store personal data or your images, there is generally nothing for us to delete or export on request. If you have questions about data handled by our advertising partners, the links above let you control ad personalization directly with Google.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
